I love these little oystercatchers. They look so jaunty high stepping across the seaweed with their bright red beaks.
I felt a need to visit thr tropics on Monday so I caught a bus down to the Bloedel Conservatory to bathe in the humidity of this domed rainforest. The plants and animals are strange, exotic and interesting. I have no idea what this flower is.
