A misty morning in Canada’s Rainforest. Another image from the magical Carmannah Valley. The moods of the west coast provide endless opportunities for creative expression.
Its unusual to see large waves on the sheltered waters of Howe sound. I really enjoyed this rough and windy day.
Yet another beautiful sunrise. With all the cloud and rain we have been having this sunrise is doubly beautiful.
The ever popular chicken fungus…..from Carmannah Valley yet again.
A giant sitka spruce from the mystical Carmannah Valley on Vancouver Island.
A little burst of Spring on this rainy day. Only a few weeks till the crocusses come out again.
One of my favourite pictures from the summer. This creek was in the Trophy Mountains of Wells Grey park. Just beautiful.
Taken on a recent trip to Vanocuver this old willow rises like a hand from the frozen swamp. Every winter Trout Lake bursts its bounds and launches an invasion of the surrounding land.
Well the monsoon has started again and it is too wet to play outside. The snow is almost gone. All I have left is my memories. 🙂
Another picture from Gibsons harbor. It was taken a few days ago when the sun was still out. Crowded harbors create an interesting aesthetic challenge for me. Isolating a subject from the busy background can be quite difficult.
